Debbie Meyer's Green Bags - Review

With the rising cost of produce at the store's these days, one of the ways we've looked to save money is by not throwing away as much wasted produce.

So we've gone out and purchased these Debbie Meyer's Green Bags Debbie Meyer's Green Bags. In which the claim is that these bags will extend the freshness of your fruits and vegetables. Since we've just recently been to the grocery store and purchased some Cherries, Baby Spinach, and a Pineapple. We though that this would be perfect opportunity for us to test these bags out.
As you can see, we've got our cherries, baby spinach, and our uncut pineapple inside green bags. To fit the pineapple, put the pineapple inside a green bag & put another green bag over the top of the pineapple to seal it. Then to secure it, put a rubber band around the bags so it's tightened around the middle of the pineapple to keep the freshness in. We will continue to update everyone, as to see if by having the fruits and vegetables in the Green Bags extends the freshness or doesn't.

Update: We're currently doing a daily report (study) with Green Bags and Bananas. You can view those enteries by clicking on the Blog link at the top of the page. If you have a vegtable or fruit that you would like to see us test, please send an email to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
