We could not do a harvest this week because we raised the grow lights to soon on the AeroGarden. As you can see in the picture below, that the leaves

were starting to look a little wilted. After reviewing the manual that came with the salad green kit, it says "If your grow lights are too far away, your plants will "stretch" towards the light and look floppy and unhealthy. That is exactly how our leaves were looking.

But now that we have lowered the grow lights back down to the first notch on the AeroGarden , you can definitely see a difference in just over three days. So, we are going to leave the lights at the lowest setting until they are about to touch the grow lights or just before they start to show a burned look.

But, all is not lost. As we did get a tidbit of lettuce to snack on, and the freshness was beyond belief!
