(Updated: 07/30/08): We did complete the test with the Debbie Meyer Green Bags and Mushrooms. We found that the Debbie Meyer Green Bags, kept the mushrooms fresher for an additional 8 days longer than what the mushrooms in the Ziplock container were. The mushrooms in the Ziplock container were fresh for a total of 9 days, where the mushrooms in the Debbie Meyer Green Bag were fresh for a total of 17 days. So, once again we find that the Debbie Meyer Green Bags worked as advertised and would recommend for keeping your fruits and vegetables fresh. It's been a few weeks since we completed our first review study of Debbie Meyer's Green Bags with Bananas. Since people seemed really enjoy that study of the Green Bags, we figured it was time to conduct our next review study of them. This time we will be using White Button Mushrooms as the vegetable for this review study. We purchased two containers of mushrooms again from our local grocery store, they were still very fresh. Here's a couple of notes about this study will be conducted: 1. One container of mushrooms will be placed into Debbie Meyer's Green Bags, the other container will be placed into a Ziplock container. 2. Neither container of mushrooms was rinsed before they were put into their separate storage container. 3. Both the sets of mushrooms were placed into the same crisper drawer of our refrigerator. 4. We will pull them out on daily basis and check them to see which if keeping fresher. A few things will also be checked (smell, feel, observation). We are looking forward to bringing you other study on Debbie Meyer's Green Bags in the near future. Click Here to purchase your own Debbie Meyer Green Bags today! |
