Now that we have completed our first full growing season with the Salad Greens kit, we've decided on our crop that we are going to grow.  This time we are going to be growing the Romaine Seed Kit.

Why did we decide to choose the romaine seed kit?  There were a couple of reason as to why we decided to grow this crop in our AeroGarden:

(1) We love having salads!!  So, why not grow something that you love to have often?

(2) If you read our final review of the Salad Greens kit, you noticed that one of the things we had a problem with was the green lettuce leafs growing and sometimes dying underneath the healthy leaves.  So, with the Romaine Seed Kit we are thinking that we shouldn't have this issue, though time will tell.

We ordered the AeroGrow Romaine Seed Kit through Amazon for $19.99, plus a few dollars for shipping came out to be around $25 total.  One question to AeroGrow, would be to have more of a selection available in stores.  We live about 25 miles North of Indianapolis, and none of the stores in our area carried this seed kit.

The package arrived via FedEx on Wednesday, luckily I had just cleaned the AeroGarden the night before.  We are in the process of writing up how this process went, so be looking for that to be posted on the website very soon.  Being that we are no longer "newbies" to setting up our AeroGarden it took about 5 minutes to setup and plant the garden.  So, we look forward to posting updates every 3-4 days with how the garden is going.
